Procurement of two 6 Unit CubeSats for the CubeISL mission

Lieferauftrag

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Defense of Germany, the RSC³ conducts research and technology demonstrations in the Responsive Space context. This includes resilient, secure, next generation communication concepts for satellites using lasers. In order to demonstrate bidirectional optical laser communication between two CubeSats In-Orbit with DLR’s Laser Communication Terminal (CubeISL LCT), two 6 Unit (6U) CubeSats will be procured.

Proof of insurance or declaration: Verification issued by the insurer of the existence of professional or business liability insurance in accordance with the requirements of the public notice. A written declaration of the insurer that it is prepared to conclude an insurance policy in accordance with the public notice before the contract is awarded is also sufficient.

Applications to participate/tenders can only be considered if the “Minimum Requirement” for the proof of insurance or declaration referred to in Section III.1.2), of the contract notice is a sum insured per year of

• 10,000,000.- EUR for personal injury and for property and financial losses

and evidence of this is submitted.

Bidding consortia must submit corresponding proof or a declaration for the bidding consortium or for each member of the bidding consortium.
