Titel: Upgrade of our existing Indirect Calorimetry System PhenoMaster – TSE Systems
Beschreibung: The following criteria must be met: 1. General Technical Requirements - System Functionality: Must provide simultaneous control, supervision, and evaluation for the following: Drinking, feeding, activity monitoring systems; integration Platform for third-party telemetry systems (e.g., monitoring of body core temperature, levels glucose and blood pressure) and integration of operant behavioral tasks - Extendable Capability: The system must be extendable, allowing for future expansion and integration of additional functionalities - Cage Configuration: The system must be suitable for GM500 Mouse IVC Green Line cages and must include a special stainless steel lid suitable for RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) control units and a mounting frame for comfortable cage handling with integrated lid holder - RFID Technology: The bundle must incorporate three RFID mounting sleeves per cages two for mice feeder and one for drinking water bottle, allowing the assessment of food and water intake of each transponderized mouse in the cage. - Access Control Unit: Must comprise a motor unit, adapter for mounting sleeve, and door insert; Must be compatible with our current feeding containers and ldrining water bottles - Measuring Unit Functionality: Must be equally usable for liquid, food, body weight and locomotor activity measurements and possess extremely long-term stability with signal acquisition using 32-bit technology. 2. Control-unit & software - The control unit must display RFID technology for measuring food and liquid consumption and individual locomotor activity in transponderized (RFID tag) grouped mice - The control unit must be designed to accommodate the mounting of three measuring sensors, comprising two for food and one for liquid, along with a traffic platform with 6 locomotor sensors and corresponding access control units - To facilitate RFID technology, three mounting sleeves with integrated antennas are required; Integrated antennas must be designed to optimize RFID signal reception and transmission, ensuring efficient communication with RFID tags - Mounting sleeves must facilitate precise integration with the designated measuring system, ensuring accurate positioning of RFID antennas for effective data capture - Universal cage control unit for connection of all sensors and a core RFID control unit must be available for RFID control within the system - The procurement must encompass a high-quality software platform compatible with the newest Windows requirements and applicable for older Windows versions as well, for example Windows 10 and 11 - All entries and definitions must be saved within the corresponding experiment file, allowing proper long-term data storage and backup. - Data must be viewed in table format and be exported as .csv-file - The procurement must include a new computer system to accommodate the core control unit software. Workstation with Windowsdesktop computer and monitor incl. acquisition, control and evaluation software must be provided. The computer must have Windows 11 with support as long as updates are available. The monitor must be at least 24 Zoll. Proposals with larger monitors do not achieve any advantages. 3. Installation, introduction, and initial training on-site - Complete cages monitoring system and software installation must be included in the order - On-site technical training for four people of our team members in both German and English must be provided by the supplier just after the installation is finished - On-site technical training must be scheduled accordingly to our time availability - Proficient technical experts must be able to provide on-site dedicated support in according to our requirements. 4. Customer Technical Assistance and Repair Service - Customer technical assistance in German and English either on-site or remotely must be made available by the supplier - Ensuring timely technical support availability, with telephone assistance provided within a maximum of 24 hours, and onsite support under 72 hours - Availability to remote assistance during our standard working hours at least from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm is required. - Telephone technical support should be also available on weekdays (MEZ / MESZ) - Ensuring efficient on-site repair services within a 24-hour timeframe must be possible except in the event of waiting times due to spare parts delivery. 5. Warranty - Warranty, including full service and maintenance for a period of 24 months, must be included in the order. During this timeframe, the supplier must commit to covering all costs associated with repairs and services without additional costs covered by the customer. - Any materials, including components of the system, that materials that naturally wear out or degrade over time that may need replacement due to regular use will be covered within the 24 months warranty provided by the supplier. - Additionally, the warranty must include free of cost updates to the system's software during the warranty period. - At least one service session must be provided within the warranty duration, unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer in the first 24 months or required by law. - The warranty, service, and maintenance period must start right after the successful commissioning and acceptance of the system. - The manufacturer must offer a warranty prolongation contract on annual basis maintaining the same conditions as the warranty period and, maintenance services which must include one service visit and minimum 25% discount on spare parts. 6. Delivery and Payment - The delivery condition DDP. - Partial deliveries may only be made in consultation with the client. - The instruction and demonstration must be in German and English. Satz 1 gilt nicht bei einem Antrag auf Feststellung der Unwirksamkeit des Vertrags nach § 135 I Nr. 2 GWB. § 134 I Satz 2 GWB bleibt unberührt. Gemäß § 134 I GWB haben öffentliche Auftraggeber die Bieter, deren Angebote nicht berücksichtigt werden sollen, über den Namen des Unternehmens, dessen Angebot angenommen werden soll, über die Gründe der vorgesehenen Nichtberücksichtigung ihres Angebots und über den frühesten Zeitpunkt des Vertragsschlusses unverzüglich in Textform zu informieren. Dies gilt auch für Bewerber, denen keine Information über die Ablehnung ihrer Bewerbung zur Verfügung gestellt wurde, bevor die Mitteilung über die Zuschlagsentscheidung an die betroffenen Bieter ergangen ist. Gemäß § 134 II GWB darf ein Vertrag erst zehn (10) Kalendertage nach Absendung (per Telefax, E-Mail oder elektronisch über die Vergabeplattform) der Information nach 134 I GWB geschlossen werden.
