Titel: Framework Agreement on Geotechnical Seabed Surveys for Export Cables

Beschreibung: 50Hertz and Elia tender a framework agreement on geotechnical investigations for export cable routes. 50Hertz, as part of the Elia Group, foresees the construction of several offshore high-voltage DC and AC stations (HVDC and HVAC), including the installation of the export cables in the North Sea and Baltic Sea. For this purpose, geotechnical investigations for the export cable route shall be performed to acquire all necessary information for the conceptual and detailed design phases. The geotechnical specifications will be used in several projects (e.g. LanWin6, as well as other OWF (offshore wind farm) clusters in the North Sea and future OWF areas in the Baltic Sea in addition to the existing windfarm areas). Quantities given in the tender documents are for the purpose of comparison and calculation. They do not constitue a guarantee.

Zusätzliche Informationen: The publication of the contract notice aims at concluding a framework agreement. a) Mandatory requirement for submission of application for participation and offers Applicants should please contact us by e-mail, stating: - the company name, - contact person (including telephone number and e-mail address) and - tax identification number, to receive information on how to access the tender on the Ariba platform. If you already have an Ariba Sourcing Account, please also send us the AN-ID. Applicants are advised to apply for this access as soon as possible and to click on "Intend to participate" in Ariba to receive explanations from the procurement office. The procurement office cannot guarantee applicants who apply for access to Ariba less than 96 hours before the deadline for submission of applications for participation, to provide Ariba login details before the submission deadline. The applicant alone is responsible for applying for access to the Ariba platform in good time. The client assumes no responsibility for problems with the Ariba platform. Any application not correctly submitted via Ariba will be rejected. b) Interested companies can address questions to the procurement office via the ARIBA platform up to a maximum of 14 calendar days before the application deadline. Non-compliance can lead to exclusion from the procedure. c) General explanations regarding the content of the application for participation: c.1) The procurement office reserves the right to request the most recent audited annual report or a business information (not older than 6 months) available from the applicant. c.2) Generally all declarations, forms and proofs have to be submitted in English. If a document cannot be provided in English at all (this must be justified) a comparable declaration or proof must be submitted and - in English - explained why the comparability exists. For documents not written in English or German, a certified translation must be attached. c.3) Applicant consortia: These must submit a legally binding and fully completed consortium declaration signed by all members with the application for participation. In particular, the aspect of the conformity of the formation of the applicant consortium with antitrust law must be observed. Each member of the applicant consortium must submit the declarations and proofs required under selection criterion 5.1.9 "Suitability for professional practice" and selection criterion "Economic and financial performance". This applies to a limited extent for the declarations and proofs under selection criterion 5.1.9 "Technical and professional performance" if the applicant consortium envisages a division of tasks and therefore, for example, certain references can only be submitted by one member of the applicant consortium; any limited submission of declarations and proofs must be exhaustively explained by the applicant consortium in an annex to the consortium declaration. The same rules apply to applicant consortia as to applicants. c.4) Other companies: Applicants can make use of the suitability of other companies to prove their suitability (borrowing of suitability). In this case, the other company must submit a declaration of commitment stating that it will perform a specifically defined partial service for the applicant in the event of a contract. Both companies which lend the suitability to the applicant (lenders of suitability and subcontractors) and - if possible - such other companies which the applicant otherwise wishes to provide for the execution of the service (subcontractors), are to be summarised in a list, where the name and seat of the other company and the part of the service for which the other company is intended are formulated. Beschreibung: The scope of work encompasses offshore geotechnical investigations, including both offshore and onshore laboratory testing, as well as comprehensive reporting of the results. This scope applies to areas within both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, as detailed in the Scope of Works (SoW). The investigations are specifically related to export cable routes and do not include offshore substations. Consequently, the required borehole depths are relatively shallow, typically ranging between 5 to 10 meters, and will not extend to depths of 80 to 100 meters.
